Nephalem Valor System in Diablo 3 - Magic Find Buff

Bashiok just announced the Nephalem Valor System for Diablo 3 that will kick in at level 60 regardless of the difficulty level you are playing. Even if Nephalem Valor is designed for Inferno difficulty, you can used it to farm Hell also, for example if you are already level 60 and want to gear up for Inferno.

How does Nephalem Valor System work, what mechanics does it have and how much Magic Find you will get? At this point in time the system is still in testing and it is known that when you kill a rare monster pack at level 60, you will get a Magic Find buff (how much, we don't know yet). However, if you change any skill in your build the buff will go off and you'll need to start all over again. This was implemented to prevent fast Boss runs (remember Mephisto runs from Diablo 2 with Durance of Hate level 2 waypoint shortcut?). If you kill a boss with Nephalem Valor buff active, you'll get consistent bonus in both loot and gold.

At the moment it is unknown if this buff persist through death or if the buff stacks but we can tell for sure that if you leave the game or change any skill (active or passive) the buff will end. I personally think that Nephalem Valor System is a really nice feature for Diablo 3 to prevent players do quick boss runs over and over again. I think it is more challenging to sweep the entire dungeon or region before you go to the Boss fight. Not only you'll get more drop from the other rare / elite mobs, it will make Boss fights more interesting.

I'm looking forward to see how Nephalem Valor System will work when Diablo 3 will be released, how much Magic Find and Gold Find you'll get from this buff and how players will react to it.
