When Will Diablo 3 Season 23 Start?
Blizzard did not yet announce the ending of Season 22 or not to mention the start date of Season 23, but we can make some easy estimation based on historical facts. Lately Blizzard focused on updates regarding Diablo 4, Diablo Immortal and the new announced project Diablo 2 Resurrected.
As you know, each Diablo 3 new season starts on a Friday, while previous season ended on a Sunday, therefore we have either 5 days or 12 days between seasons (lately was 12 days).
Seasons 20, 21 and 22 started 12 days after the end of their preceding Season therefore would expect this pattern to carry forward for Diablo 3 Season 23 start also. Patch 2.7.0 PTR started at the end of February and will likely run until March 5 at least, we can expect for Season 22 to end on either March 14 or March 21, therefore the two most obvious dates for Season 23 to start would be March 26 or April 2.
With Blizzard currently working on 4 different Diablo projects at once, we could expect longer seasons on Diablo 3 going forward so I would bet on April 2 to be the Diablo 3 Season 23 Start Date.
Diablo 3 Season 23 will feature:
- Follower System Revamp (including Emanate new ability).
- Follower Skills Revamp
- Items changes
- Bug fixes
